Pots which grow with your plant

I love these expanding flower pots developed by Studio Ayaskan on show recently at the Cockpit Arts open studio in Holborn, London.   The expanding origami planters will grow with your plant by simply adding soil. No need to uproot your plant, get messy or your hands dirty.  Besides their practicality, they look stunning too!  They are not on sale yet, but register your interest by joining Studio Ayaskan’s mailing list.

Open studios jewellery edit, London

End of November was open studio weekend in London.  I spent most of my weekend going around the open studios, checking out latest designs and news from the designer-makers.  For the November open studios, I managed to visit the studios in the Chocolate Factory in Stoke Newington, Craft Central in Clerkenwell and Cockpit Arts in Bloomsbury.  Here is my edit of some of my favourite jewellery pieces.

Organic Amplifier by Camille Lee

This organic amplifier by London based designer Camille Lee is made entirely out of wood and can be used with any iPhones.  I love its ability to connect the nostalgic style of the gramophone with modern technology.  Works brilliantly with any iPhones, no cables needed.  Find her work at Cockpit Arts, Holborn, London.
